FFL Midrand answered the call when Mazars, a global Auditing, Accountancy and Tax Advisory firm with branches in 79 countries, asked for an organization where their staff could contribute 67 minutes to celebrate Mandela Day on 18th July.
FFL Midrand referred the Mazars team to the New Jerusalem Children’s Home in President Park. They were warmly received by Anna Mojapelo and her dedicated team.
The Mazars team donated 50 boxes of pizzas, clothing, 60 handmade blankets and groceries to the value of R5000.00. The Mazars team was so impressed with the home and will assist with providing mentorship, scholarships, learnerships and job placement opportunities to the older children especially those looking to embark on a career in the accounting field in the near future.
It was a fun day out with Anna remarking that she loves the FFL team and was very grateful for the opportunity to welcome new corporate partners into the Home’s support network. The Mazars team was equally grateful and thanked the FFL team for making the day extra meaningful and special.
