This past Sunday, 6 May Malthi and Des partnered with Food For Life KwaMashu and generously funded and served wholesome vegetarian meals to approximately 600 deserving children at Red Cliff in Verulam.  Food For Life KwaMashu obliged with the preparation of the meals. With such enthusiasm from these donors so many souls were reached and hungry mouths fed. Food For Life KwaMashu looks forward to partnering with them again.

Yesterday Food For Life KwaMashu once again partnered with the charitable couple, Malthi and Des together with Tiger and the rest of their team to serve the disadvantaged members of the Red Cliff community in Verulam. The metro police also kindly offered assistance by transporting the meals for the children.

A number of underprivileged children gathered and waited in anticipation to their turn for some divine breyani. An interview with Des revealed that a few weeks ago someone took notice of the children digging into bins as they forage for food which sparked a desire in Des to provide a platform to help these needy children. Both children and adults enjoyed the hot breyani at Redcliff. Children came from far and wide around this area. Des’s team also gave them clothing and food hampers, including soup mix for their families.

The children treated the team to some ethnic music and dance as a token of appreciation prior to the feed. Food for Life KwaMashu wishes to extend their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to Des and the team for their generosity and acts of kindness.

Amathalente Youth Group

FoodForLife : April 25, 2018 6:05 pm : kwamashu, Uncategorized

This past Saturday Food For Life Kwamashu shared the true spirit of giving. Through the  efforts of our beloved cook, Mother Anandini Radhika and the rest of the Team, we were able to cook and distribute hot meals to Amathalente Youth Group as well as some elderly totalling around 500 people. Amathalente operates in Ntuzuma and is one of those organisations that are really struggling for support. Food For Life Kwamashu wishes them many blessings in their endeavours .
