The Grand Opening of the Food for Life Western region on 22 Feb 2014 was undoubtedly a resounding success and had without fail attracted much interest within the local Community , attracting an encouraging turn out on the day to approx 200 patrons
The Event was colourful and Vibrant , with hardly a dull moment and amidst the entertainment cleverly showcased the Mission and objectives of the Western region project .
The mood of fundraising and sponsorship was smartly introduced via an Audio Visual presentation by our charismatic PRO, Chantal which culminated into the official presentation and hand over of a brand new Vw caddy bakkie to the FFLSA Chairman , Mr Viresh Panday .
The mood of service and excellence that FFLSA endeavours to embrace and share with all Patrons was portrayed full power when the efficient Western region Youth Team managed by Ananta Naidoo and Veashna pulled out all the stops to ensure that the Dining experience was going to keep the FFLSA Flag flying high . The dining experience encapsulated a very authentic dinner prepared by Bengali Cook , Guru Krippa das who prepared a unique combination of highly relish able preps , a warm and ambient mood prevailed as the “youth serving team” uniformly dressed in black and white attire , caringly served the Patrons and ensured that the evening of dining was well enjoyed and well appreciated .
Needless to say , such good work within all departments deserves many commendations and I place onto records my Thanks and Appreciations to Chantal and her Team who spearheaded this program from day one and ensured its overall Success .
