This past weekend, Food for Life Cape Town visited Khayamandi, a township in Stellenbosch. Arrangements were made by Cronje with Mr Madiba (whom we’d met some months ago). We were blessed with great weather, and we had a group of near 20 volunteers, including our “Matie” friends.
The food was prepared by the gifted Damodhar (who’ll shortly be leaving us as he relocates to Pretoria L L L). After the serve-out, we were treated to a delicious lunch-on-the-lawn, as we all relaxed and socialised on a lovely Saturday afternoon. A GREAT DAY OUT!!
