The children gathered in excitement as we assembled them in a orderly line in preparation for us in feeding these wonderful children hot meals. There exhibited beaming smiles which already made the servers day, even before feeding started. When feeding commenced the atmosphere changed to jubilation. Their cries of joy attracted the curiosity of passerby’s. The excitement and joy overflowed to the adjacent dwellings which inturn attracted many others to join the festivities the Food for Life serve out.
We were visited by one of the community leaders who expressed here appreciation to Food for Life for bringing hope and joy to the children of Kwa Mashu. At the end of the serve out we received a warm send off and promised them who were present that we will soon return.
