This past weekend, Food for Life Cape Town visited our very good friends in Mitchell’s Plain. First spot was at Fatima’s in Tafelsig. Rooshda took the 2nd team to another spot, and the third team went to Sullyman’s, also in Tafelsig. Each team went with 250 plates, and within 1 hour we were all done.
Cooking was done by the dynamic duo of Sveta and Nilesh. We had a SUPER team of volunteers, including Michael, Perez, Neela, Heena, Francisca, Terushka, Mrs Luckoo and Saraswati. Heartfelt thanks to on-site assistance provided by Rooshda, Fatima, Sullyman and his wife Jean.
What a great day we had in Tafelsig.
