KZN Food Relief

25 July 2021

There’s something to be said about the human spirit.

It helps us to be resilient, overcoming the most devastating of circumstances and shows us that life matters and that we will always be committed to humanity.

Amidst the pandemic and the unrest of the last week, we witnessed the power of the human spirit as we stood up to care for our fellow human beings, with humility and love.

A huge thank you for your support. Your generosity enabled approximately 30 tonnes of essential items to be transported to KZN to assist those left desolate by the destruction caused during the unrest.

Whilst back home, the daily distribution of meals continued and this week saw another 3700 tummies being fed.

With a heavy heart, we say goodbye to our dearest Satyaki Prabhu, who has served Food for Life since 1999. He was an integral part of the FFL team and will be sorely missed.

If you would like to get involved, please contact our chairman, Vinesh Maharaj, on 083 792 6518.
